The Word of God – Part 3

Meditate the word of God Ps. 1:2-3 “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

I’m inspired by the fact that the word works. When you meditate on God’s word, you’ll be like a tree planted by the riverside. As there is a curse wrapped up in the wicked man's mercies, so there is a blessing concealed in the righteous man's crosses, losses, and sorrows.  The trials of the saint are a divine husbandry, by which he grows and brings forth abundant fruit.

3 Jn. 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers” (WEB).

It is expected of a child of God to fill his mind with God’s word. Prosperity is not an issue of the flesh, it is of the soul.

A shrink soul makes for a shrink life. An ignorant soul makes for an ignorant life. So you have to guard against what enters into your mind.

Poverty is a function of a poor soul. A man is not poor because he did not go to school but because he is ignorant. So go for knowledge today – the knowledge of the word of God.

Pro. 18:1 “Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.”

When you meditate on God’s word, you are rubbing your little mind with God’s great mind. Meditation on God’s word helps you keep God’s commandments and in turn gives you good success.

Ps. 1:2-3 “…and on his law he meditates day and night…He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”

When you meditate on God’s word you’ll not miss your season, your leaves will not wither and whatsoever you do will prosper.

When you speak the word of God, angels go on errand. To succeed as a believer, you must learn to speak God’s word.

Jn. 12:49 “For I have not spoken on my own authority; the Father who sent me has himself given me commandment what to say and what to speak.”

Jesus did not speak his own words; he spoke God’s word. He spoke the words he heard his father speak. Child of God learn to speak God’s word. The word of God is what you need for signs. It is what you need for a victorious Christian life. “…and the Lord working with them confirming the word with signs following.” Mr. 16:20

I pray that the power in the word of God will mount pressure on your challenges and give you victory. It will give you good success. More  grace.
